Lawrence Highman, Dr.
Dr. Highman and the surgical team pride themselves in their friendly, efficient and prompt evaluation and treatment of all patients. They also place prevention of surgical site infections as a high priority. Glenn Medical Center follows the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) procedures identified by state law for ongoing surveillance of surgical site infections. They believe that infections can be reduced through the identification and prevention of risk factors. Glenn Medical Center evaluates procedures, policies and practices, looking for preventable risk factors, when infection trends are identified.
Dr. Highman received his medical degree from University of Illinois. He began practicing in Colusa after he completed his Internship and Residency at University of Illinois and Cleveland Clinic in 1979. Dr. Highman has been in practice at Glenn Medical Center since 2004.
